A Birthday hit November 11, 2008
I purchased this set for my grand daughter for her second birthday. It was an instant hit. After claiming the wooden knife to brandish, she quickly became entranced with cutting her wooden fruits and vegetable in half then repeating the process over and over. We had to encourage her to open her other presents. Her mom and dad report that the whole set lives in the drawer under their stove and when mom and dad start to cook, the drawer is opened and Ada cuts up her own vegetables. They are, however, waiting for the day when she learns to put the velcroed parts back together again.

My daughter, who is 18 months, recieved these as a gift last week and we are in love with them. Not only are they durable and fun, but beautiful as well! Our daughter is definitely on the younger side for this toy, but having spent plenty of time watching me chop real fruits and veggies she gets a huge kick out of doing it herself! We think these are so beautiful we set up a mock fruit bowl on the coffee table in which to store them, which would probably be a great idea for any grandparents or singletons out there who need something with which to entertain visiting kiddos. These are great and best of all we know they will live long enough to be passed down several times.

This play set was purchased for my niece as a Christmas present. She loves playing with them in her play-kitchen.
They're also of good quality and will be able to be played with for years to come.
