I wanted to use all natural products for my small terrier mix dogs, both about 10 pounds. I started this product in the spring, and initially it worked. The dogs were only outside for short walks and to use the bathroom, so their exposure to fleas was limited. However, summer came and we took the dogs rock climbing, camping, hiking, running, etc. This product just wasn't enough for their long periods of exposure, I think. Even when we were washing the dogs 2 times a week with this shampoo, they still got fleas. Then, once the fleas infested the dogs and the house, this wasn't enough to rid ourselves of the fleas. It would kill the fleas during bath time--we would see the fleas on our hands and falling into the white bath tub (dead). However, just hours after the bath, the dogs would be scratching again--it didn't do anything to repel the fleas.
I'm not totally giving up on the shampoo--I might try it next spring in conjunction with another natural product--I did not use this brand of spray (I used another, totally useless one). I like the smell, although it took some getting used to. So, I'm fairly neutral on this shampoo, although I will have to say it didn't quite live up to the claims it made.

I was looking for a natural flea shampoo and this one appears to work great. Upon opening it, it has a strong smell that some dogs may find overwhelming, because even I did. Don't confuse that with having a bad smell, because it smells great. It lathers easily and seems to kill fleas well. I had some jumping onto me immediately upon lathering up my dog's back. Like other flea shampoos, be sure to make a ring around her neck first before wetting them down and lathering them. Let it sit for about 5 minutes, which is usually even shorter than it takes me to finish soaping down my dog. I just need to get rid of them from my carpet now.

This product is absolutely awasome, the natural oils help my pet to stay clean and smelling delicious for almost 2 weeks, also help to keep the hair soft like baby.

I wanted natural with this little dog, so I bought this shampoo and the spray, which I use on the brush,then brush her. She gets a bath about every 7-14 days, depending on how much it rains and she gets dirty. So far it has been keeping the fleas off of her, great product. Smells a little strong, but goes away when dry.

I've used this on my dog only two times so far.
The first time, I didn't leave it on for more than 3 minutes and some of the fleas spung back to life after my dog was dry.
The second time I used it and let it sit for the full 5 minutes. It seemed like it killed most of the fleas although one or two were running around on her after we'd finnished.
Overall, I think it's a great alternative to the harsh chemicals people normally use.
